ABOUT INTELLX
The infrastructure was always going to be built. We are the team that built it.
IntellX exists because the people who ran consumer measurement in MENA for a decade saw the structural gap, understood why legacy systems could not close it, and built the AI-native infrastructure to close it permanently.
ORIGIN
The origin.
We spent over a decade inside the world's largest consumer intelligence organizations, designing and operating FMCG purchase panels across Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt. We built the analytical frameworks. We delivered the category assessments. We sat in the client meetings where the data shaped investment decisions worth hundreds of millions.
And we watched the methodology fail the region it was supposed to serve.
The panels measured supermarkets. Saudi consumers buy at gas stations, baqalas, cafes, and delivery apps. The panels delivered quarterly. Saudi markets move monthly. The infrastructure was built for Western European retail in the 1990s. MENA retail in the 2020s is a different market entirely: 40% traditional trade, 30% out-of-home, Arabic-English mixed commerce, demographic complexity that no Western weighting system was designed to handle.
We did not leave to build a competitor. We left because the problem we spent a decade trying to fix from the inside required infrastructure that could not be built from the inside. IntellX is that infrastructure.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
What we believe.
Within five years, every serious consumer intelligence decision in MENA will require all-channel measurement. Out-of-home consumption will be measured as rigorously as in-home. Delivery, convenience, and traditional trade will be tracked at the item level, not extrapolated from retail audits. Arabic-native AI will resolve commerce signals that no imported technology can handle. The question is not whether this infrastructure will exist. The question is who builds it. IntellX is the team with the domain depth to build it correctly and the technological capability to build it at scale.

TEAM
The team.
IntellX was founded by practitioners, not technologists who discovered consumer data. The founding team brings a combined decade-plus of experience designing and operating the analytical frameworks that define how FMCG performance is measured in the region. Category assessments delivered. Panels designed. Methodologies built. Clients served across every major FMCG vertical in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt.
Designed panel methodology for three of the five largest FMCG markets in MENA
Conducted 1,000+ category assessments across the region
Built analytical frameworks used by major FMCG companies to allocate billions in brand investment
Fluent in Arabic, English, and French. Native understanding of MENA consumer behavior.
Personally managed client relationships with the largest FMCG companies operating in the GCC
INFRASTRUCTURE
Partners and infrastructure.
IntellX is built on institutional-grade infrastructure, not startup tooling. Data residency, compliance, and security are architectural decisions, not afterthoughts.
AWS Bahrain
Data infrastructure. All consumer data processed and stored in AWS Middle East (Bahrain) region. Full data residency compliance with Saudi PDPL.
Anthropic (Claude AI)
AI infrastructure. Receipt parsing, product identification, and entity recognition powered by Claude, the most capable AI system for structured reasoning.
Voyage AI
Embedding infrastructure. 50,000+ MENA FMCG products vector-embedded in 1,024-dimensional space for semantic matching across Arabic and English.
Vercel
Application hosting. Dubai region deployment for minimum latency to GCC clients.
The measurement gap is closing.
IntellX is building the intelligence infrastructure that MENA consumer markets have needed for twenty years. If you are making decisions about consumer brands in this region, this is the team to talk to.
